The judge overseeing one of the nation’s most complex judicial trials in American political history agreed Tuesday to allow one of Donald Trump’s co-defendants more time to argue the accuracy of the 2020 election results.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee allowed attorneys for Harrison Floyd to arrange and produce “expert testimony” arguing Floyd’s – and Trump’s – assertions the nation’s 45th president actually won the election, a presidential contest which allowed Joe Biden to become the first Democrat since 1992 to carry a deep Southern state.
Floyd’s attorneys said they could arrange for their experts to provide their testimony sometime in late June or early July.
